was honored and grateful to receive the Doug Fletcher Award
for Excellence in Therapeutic Humor by the Association
of Applied and Therapeutic Humor. The "Doug
Fletcher Award"
was created to recognize and remember Doug Fletcher, a nurse and
therapeutic humor adocate. Doug inspired people to come together
and build a strong
network of health and humor professionals dedicated to exploring
and developing therapeutic applications of humor. The "Douggie"
is awarded to an individual or group whose work follow in the tradition
of Doug Fletcher. |
